Mike Gallogly, President & CEO

Mike currently owns MiTec Computer Solutions and has over 25 years of experience in management, engineering and computer technology with a diverse science and technical background.

Prior to running his own company he worked as a Senior Network Engineer and Engineer/Analyst for MSIS, a West Virginia Technology Company.

He served as Technology Coordinator at the West Virginia Wood Technology Center in Elkins West Virginia where he wrote and managed a $240K Federal Grant to develop workforce training and distance learning technologies including a state of the art videoconferencing system still in use weekly by West Virginia University and local business to deliver educational and business conferences around the world.

As Technology Director for a school district in New Jersey, he maintained and upgraded a mixed Novel and Microsoft network with hundreds of computers, labs, and a fiber-based video distribution system. He wrote the curriculum for, and taught, A+ and Net+ certification to high school students.

As a Process controls Designer at DuPontís Major Research Facility in Wilmington, DE, he assisted research chemists in designing and building computer-based control systems for experimental and manufacturing facilities using CAD (Computer Aided Design) and CIM (Computer Integrated Manufacturing) extensively.

He has had additional coursework in Business (Accounting, Economics, Mathematics), Visual Communications (Art Institute of Pittsburgh) Computer Security (Applied Penetration Testing CEH) Microsoft 2003 Server Administration, is a CHSP (Certified HIPAA Security Consultant), and has taught Computer Networking and Security at Davis & Elkins College as an adjunct instructor.

Software Skills: Microsoft NT to 2012 Server, Exchange Server, SQL Server, SharePoint Server, AutoCAD, Micro Station. and numerous Business & proprietary programs such as QuickBooks, ADV, Medical Billing programs, Lumber Grading, Computer and Network Security, Industrial controls and Point of Sale to mention a few.

Hardware Skills: TCP/IP, WAN, 802.11* (Wireless) Network troubleshooting and analysis. PC- Server component repair and troubleshooting, Videoconferencing Systems, NAS (Network Attached Storage), VPNís, Network printers, scanners, fax, IP and analog phone systems, server & desktop virtualization

Otis Cutshaw III, Chief Operations Officer

Otis has over eight years of experience as a Web Designer and Developer and over ten years of business management in addition to experience in graphic design and computer arts development.

His training and experience in marketing and management gives him a unique perspective on the needs of small to medium sized enterprises.

Software Skills: Windows 95 to Current, MS Office applications, HTML, Lotus, Quickbooks, Macromedia, Photoshop

Hardware Skills: PC Troubleshooting, Network Troubleshooting, Mail systems

Alexandra Jefferds, Systems Engineer


BS BioEngineering & MS Rehabilitation Science and Technology, University of Pittsburgh

Alexandra has been working with computers since she was a small child, and her skills have been developed through years of interest in various modes of computer use. In the MiTec office, she handles the phone helpdesk, monitors and maintains client networks and backups, conducts R&D, and works to make client websites more secure.

Her background in assistive technology and universal design for the lifespan lends her a familiarity with many ways that a computer can be customized to suit a user's visual, auditory, and physical interface needs.

Software Skills: Windows and Linux, HTML/PHP/CSS, photo and vector graphics, virtual machines, workstation and server backup, software for alternative/assistive computer access, OS optimization for individuals

Hardware Skills: Networking, hardware for alternative/assistive computer access, PC troubleshooting and repair

Dr. Engebretson currently teaches accounting at Fairmont State University, and is a coordinator for the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program. She is available as a consultant for clients with accounting systems.
